Frédérick Yvan Manuel Gay – “Angels”.
Romans (France) 1971, visual artist and teacher, graduated at Lyon University in Applied Arts and D.E.S.S. Fashion and Creation. He won SEMA 2006 Métiers d’Art Award for Contemporary Artistic Creation.
He studied with the last French craft master specialist in Fan, through the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. At the same time he graduated in psychology from the University of Lyon.
Currently he teaches both children and adults and he gives lectures on art. He has developed the Fan Museum Shop in Paris for two years.
He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, stage sets, animations and catalogs. Since 1999 manages his own studio (expressions and contemporary creations).
“My art work is turned towards Skin, Breath and Identity. As an iconoclast, my main interests are the Garden of Eden’s symbolic force, the Angels and the great myths surrounding our Origins …”
