SUMMARY:Collective Exhibition “3*** artAmore”
DESCRIPTION:artAmore Sitges presents a new exhibition\, 3 artists\, 3 stars that have exhibit this year in artAmore Sitges and have left their print. Our *** are: Miquel Lligadas\, with a selection of works of “intimate format”\, which although they do not want to be projects of medium or large sculptures\, have a certainly sculptural character; Octavi Intente\, who presents a new collection of “Dibums”\, the Catalan word he uses to designate his drawings (DIBuixos) with a vocation for volume (volUM); and Hatice Rana Tarhangil\, a “supra recycling/upcycling” artist who transmits the beauty of nature and encourages us to preserve it. \nThe opening will take place on Sunday\, December 3rd  at 12.30pm\, and the exhibition can be seen at artAmore Sitges until January 7th\, 2024. \nMiquel Lligadas i Pujadas. Born in Sitges (1957)\, although he currently lives in Terrassa and Capçanes\, where he works. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and later a master’s degree in Art Therapy at the University of Girona. \nHe has had numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally in Barcelona\, Terrassa\, Madrid\, Germany\, Switzerland\, France\, etc. and he has large sculptures in Kwangju\, Kyonggido (South Korea). \nMiquel Lligadas divides his time between creativity and the creation of his work\, with art therapy workshops\, which he carries out in different centers for people with intellectual disabilities\, addiction problems and drug addicts in the process of reintegration. \nOctavi Intente (Castellar del Vallès\, 1959) is an outstanding painter and “egarense” (Terrasa-Catalunya) artist. After his first stage as an illustrator\, has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in important places such as Barcelona\, Girona\, Madrid\, Sevilla\, France\, USA\, etc. \nHe studied sculpture at the Escuela Massana of Barcelona. His works are exposed at museums and foundations\, but the most remarkable location is at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Some of his works are also in varied and prestige and varied places such as The Mirror Barcelona Hotel or the restaurants Angle Barcelona and Ten’s Tapas Restaurant by the award-winning Chef Jordi Cruz. \nHatice Rana Tarhangil belongs to planet Earth. The artworks that you are going to enjoy are created to be an engine of agitation in our environmental conscience\, they transmit the beauty of nature and are born from recycled plastic bottles\, that she has obtained from the neighbors of Les Llosses\, Gombrèn and Campdevànol towns. \nAs a “Suprarreciclaje” (Upcycling) artist\, her desire is to preserve the planet\, leaving as a legacy\, not the accumulation of waste\, but the transformation of these into art\, to communicate an urgency that concerns to all of us. \n“Humans have intervened so much in the earth’s processes that we have even changed the planet’s natural cycle. We are already suffering the consequences\, and the human footprint will remain present on our planet even after our disappearance.” Ricard Arasa Gisbert. \nExhibition: \nDecember 3rd 2023 to January 7th\, 2024 – artAmore Sitges \nTuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm \nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges \ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com

SUMMARY:Flavia Sebök "Ocean"
DESCRIPTION:“Ocean” is the exhibition that Flavia Sebök has prepared for artAmore Sitges and that can be seen from July 29th to August 26th. The opening ceremony will take place on July 29 at 7 pm. \nIn her pictorial work\, nature in all its manifestations stands out as a theme; she especially feels an attraction for painting the tranquillity transmitted by the sea\, the fishes\, the snails and the deep ocean\, where peace and calm predominate. Water as a powerful and invisible energy. Thinking inward\, feeling and reflecting. \nBorn in Argentina in 1968\, painter and set designer\, she graduated in film\, theatre and television scenography at the Universidad del Salvador in 1993\, Buenos Aires\, Argentina. It is there\, where she learned all the techniques to imitate reality with textures\, through different natural materials obtained from nature such as processed wood\, recycled paper\, sand\, seeds and bark. She also studied the art of resin to create aquatic transparencies. \nShe has exhibit in Buenos Aires\, Punta del Este\, Miami\, Milan\, Rome\, Taormina\, Messina and Zurich. \nExhibition:\nFrom July 20th to August 26th\, 2023 – artAmore Sitges\nAll days from 10.30am to 14pm and from 5.30pm to 8.30pm\nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges\ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com

SUMMARY:Marcos Zrihen’s Painting Exhibition “Platges i Deserts”
DESCRIPTION:Marcos Zrihen has prepared a new exhibition for artAmore Sitges\, “Platges i Deserts”\, which you can visit from July 1st to 25th in Sitges. The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday\, July 1st at 6:00 pm. \nMarcos Zrihen expresses with his painting an anxious search\, a need for exploration of man and his cultural and environmental diversity. In beaches and deserts we find an ethnic and minimalist collection that refers to man and nature\, in the light of welfare and simplicity. But also to loneliness\, restlessness and pursuit. The man and his shadow in sight of a bird. \nTribes dancing\, children playing. Human groups always in motion. Work on canvas that nevertheless seems painted on wood\, with textures\, reliefs and subtle tones. The life and its dynamism captured from an original prism\, detached and at the same time very human. \n  \nExhibition:\nFrom July 1st to 25th\, 2023 – artAmore Sitges\nTuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 14pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm \nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges\ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com

SUMMARY:Exhibition: "Nature Lovers" by Anna Font
DESCRIPTION:With the exhibition “Nature Lovers”\, Anna invites us to consider the earth as our loving companion. This contemplation of spiritual awareness leads us to treat Mother Nature with esteem\, respect and carefulness\, as you take care for your lover. \nWith this selection of  watercolours on silk with the gutta technique\, Anna plays on a visual level with the connection of loving couples who merge with the environment\, completely integrating themselves with their habitat: leaves\, flowers\, trees or seas are part of her imaginary and transport us to a dreamlike space full of colour and tenderness. This exhibition invites us to gravitate freely with the energies of the colours\, shapes and sensations that inspire the artist from her most fantastic and cosmic subconscious. \nThe exhibition is part of the collective project “Mujeres en el Arte” (Women at Art) of the Asociación Armazon\, to promote women artists all over the world. They want to give visibility to women artists and their individual creations\, due to the fact that the participation of women artists in national museums is negligible in all countries of the world. This international project\, which started in 2022\, consists of personal exhibitions of women artists in the country where they live\, and began in Spain with the exhibition “Somos muchas” (We are many) by the artist Silvia Alcalá\, with 500 women’s faces. This project will be carried out every year to show the art of women in the world\, until the balance of participation of women artists in the world’s museums is achieved. artAmore Sitges joins and supports the project with the aim of empowering women artists as valuable entrepreneurs. \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nANNA FONT PELAÓ: She has a special ability to transform reality and capture it in the magical world of silk with vibrant colours and undulating forms\, taking it to a state of dreamlike fantasy enhancing “the joy of living”. \nGraduated in Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts at La LLotja school in Barcelona\, she is specialised in Artistic Weaving and also in pictorial procedures and Mural Techniques. \nShe has participated in exhibitions at national and international level in countries such as Japan\, China\, Korea\, Switzerland and Italy. Anna has also collaborated with multinational companies making promotional designs for brands such as L’Oréal\, Chen Yu\, Lejia Conejo\, Janira\, Don Algodón\, etc. and made the poster-design-illustration for the “Mulla’t 2005” campaign for the fight against multiple sclerosis.

The cleaning lady used to scold me for drawing on the desk every day in high school. After the COU I did a course in advertising\, comic and airbrushing at the Joso School in Barcelona. Thanks to the persistence of a great friend\, I went to the Massana School\, where I was lucky to meet some friends like me. But in reality\, I have always been fascinated by creativity\, painting\, and all the materials to create\, materialize these thoughts\, or visualized the ideas. I still enjoy the works and concerns that cross my path\, and I hope to continue making pencil shavings. ”

SUMMARY:Alfredo Zarazaga - Portraits of the inhabitants of the "Corral"
DESCRIPTION:The Painting Exhibition by Alfredo Zarazaga “Retratos de Habitantes del Corral” is the metaphor of a global problem from a local point of view. \nWith these portraits Alfredo wants to emphasized the importance of every marine being\, no matter how small they are\, they are part of that WHOLE of which we are all a part. They represent the vestige of the natural wealth and subsistence that were the “corrales” (The Chipiona fish pens). \nHis work always projects the same concept: “We belong to a WHOLE”. This concept analyzed is the result of his professional history using different materials and supports (sculpture\, painting\, drawings and prints) and working recycled materials\, which allow him to reuse something already discarded and give it a second chance\, he converts it into a new unique “object” with a different meaning. \n  \nExhibition: \nFrom June 29th to July 21st\, 2019\nartAmore Sitges\nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges\nTuesday to Sunday from 10.30 am to 2pm and from 5pm to 9pm. \ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com
