SUMMARY:Les Fleurs du Mâle by Sébastien Rouanet
DESCRIPTION:A sensual\, elegant and nostalgic celebration of queer masculinity. \nAugust 30 – September 28\, 2025\n🎉 Opening: Friday\, August 30 at 6.30 p.m. \nThis summer\, Artamore Sitges presents the exclusive exhibition “Les Fleurs du Mâle” by the French artist Sébastien Rouanet \, a vibrant\, erotic visual journey celebrating diversity\, male beauty\, and contemporary gay imagery. \nInspired by iconic figures such as Jean Paul Gaultier\, Pierre et Gilles\, Tom of Finland\, and infused with the poetic echoes of Charles Baudelaire\, Rouanet offers a bold and refined perspective on masculinity. Sailors\, stripes and open shirts take centre stage in a pictorial universe that plays with the visual codes of desire and identity. \nOriginally from Toulouse and in love with Catalonia\, especially with Sitges\, Sébastien blends acrylic\, oil\, ink and watercolour techniques in a sensorial\, multifaceted body of work. Each piece is an invitation to explore a world where difference is embraced\, not hidden. \nHis visual language flirts with pop\, gay culture\, and social commentary\, with subtle references to artists like Banksy to reflect on tolerance\, freedom\, and the right to be oneself. \n“Les Fleurs du Mâle” is more than an exhibition — it’s a visual and emotional manifesto that turns intimacy into universality.

SUMMARY:Athletes by Koldo Logan: David & Lars
DESCRIPTION:Strength\, vulnerability\, and the male body as a universal story. \nAugust 27 – September 28\, 2025\nOpening: Wednesday\, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. \nCoinciding with the Bears Sitges 2025 festival\, artAmore Sitges presents a new exhibition by the sculptor Koldo Logan\, who expands his acclaimed Athletes series with two new figures: David and Lars. \nThese new characters join the five original Athletes previously unveiled by the artist\, forming a growing sculptural ensemble that explores diverse expressions of contemporary masculinity. Koldo Logan’s vision is both anatomical and emotional\, offering bodies that are as expressive as silent. \nDavid\, inspired by the biblical hero\, represents determination\, inner strength\, and courage. Lars\, with Nordic undertones\, radiates calm\, nobility and introspection. Two figures\, two energies\, complementary and resonant. \nWith meticulous technique and expressive power\, Koldo Logan elevates the male form to a stage of personal and universal drama. “Every fold\, every tension speaks to something beyond the physical\,” says the artist. His work transforms the body into a space of daily heroism. \nAthletes: David & Lars will be on view from August 30 to September 28\, 2025. An essential stop during Sitges’ most vibrant and inclusive season\, to connect with contemporary art.

SUMMARY:MOUSE? by Josep M Pastó
DESCRIPTION:artAmore Sitges is pleased to present MOUSE?\, an exhibition of artistic recycling sculptures by Catalan artist Josep M. Pastó\, on view from June 21 to August 25\, 2025. The opening will take place on Saturday\, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the artAmore Sitges. \nIn this playful and emotionally rich exhibition\, Pastó reinterprets the universal icons of Mickey and Minnie Mouse through a highly personal technique: assemblage using recycled materials. Each piece is the result of meticulous searches for forgotten objects\, scrap metal\, discarded wood\, worn-out fragments\, which he transforms and integrates with artisanal precision and artistic sensitivity. \nThe collection is grounded in a simple yet profound idea: joy as a creative force. For Pastó\, to create is to reconnect with childhood to rediscover play and imagination through hands-on construction. These works not only give new life to materials but also offer a fresh lens through which the viewer can reflect on consumption\, memory\, and reuse. \nJosep M. Pastó\, who lives in Sant Pere de Ribes\, is a self-taught artist with roots in the Lleida region. While still in high school\, he discovered his artistic passion through classes with Carme Benet in Les Borges Blanques. This early interest led him to enroll independently at the Escola d’Arts Aplicades i Oficis Artístics de Tàrrega. Though he later pursued a career in telecommunications engineering which he still practices today\, creative expression has always been central to his life: from working with clay and wood to object transformation and photography. His artistic approach blends impulsive creativity with a strong respect for manual processes\, often shaped by the wisdom of his father. \nMOUSE? is an exhibition that invites smiles\, reclaims forgotten materials\, and restores sculpture’s power to move through humour\, memory and tenderness.

SUMMARY:Tropicalia Mediterránea by Carlos Rojas
DESCRIPTION:artAmore Sitges presents: “Tropicalia Mediterránea”\, a solo exhibition by Carlos Rojas\nFrom April 26th to May 24th\, 2025. Opening: April 26th at 12:30 p.m. at artAmore Sitges. \nartAmore Sitges proudly presents Tropicalia Mediterránea\, a solo exhibition by the artist Carlos Rojas\, on view from April 26th to May 24th\, 2025. The opening will take place on Saturday\, April 26th at 12:30 p.m. in the artAmore Sitges’ exhibition space. \nIn Tropicalia Mediterránea\, Rojas immerses us in a world where the warmth of the Caribbean meets the brightness of the Mediterranean. His work is a vibrant fusion of bold colours\, flowing forms\, and natural patterns that evoke the energy\, light\, and emotional richness of both regions. Through his singular artistic lens\, the artist creates a bridge between two cultures that\, despite their geographic distance\, share a profound connection. \nBorn in a small fishing village on the Venezuelan Caribbean coast\, Carlos Rojas has built a career spanning over three decades in the art world. His journey has taken him across the Americas\, Europe\, and Africa\, capturing the essence of the places and people he encounters. His work is defined by strong colour palettes and simple forms that effectively convey the identity and spirit of his subjects. Blending poetic realism with a distinctly Latin American aesthetic\, his creations are featured in galleries and private collections around the world. Rojas currently lives in Barcelona and exhibits permanently in Venezuela\, Amsterdam\, and across Spain. \nOne of the exhibition’s most emblematic works is a collage inspired by the figure of the Mediterranean fisherman\, paying tribute to Picasso through the iconic striped sailor shirt. This piece was crafted using cutouts from Rojas’ own Caribbean-themed paintings and finished with a resin coat\, enhancing the layered textures and visual interplay. \nTropicalia Mediterránea is an invitation to discover how art can build bridges between cultures\, highlighting their similarities and enriching their differences. The exhibition promises to be a sensorial and emotional experience\, transporting visitors on a journey of light\, colour\, and artistic sensitivity.

SUMMARY:Anabayuleti Gamboa\, Series Mito Fundacional
DESCRIPTION:Bayu brings us from Mexico his series Mito Fundacional. The theme of her drawings is autobiographical\, each stroke corresponds to a personal experience that represents\, in a juxtaposed and fantastic narrative\, complex emotions and deep desires; each symbol sublimates an encounter\, a knowledge\, a process\, a dream or a challenge. She draws her own identity\, she lays herself bare in her pencil drawings\, which transport us to labyrinths already lived\, his Foundational Myths\, developed with great mastery. \nThe opening will take place on Saturday September 28th 2024\, at 6.30 p.m.\, and the exhibition can be seen at artAmore Sitges until November\, 4th. \nBayu defines her work for us:\nI believe that as individuals we have (also)\, the capacity to assume ourselves as a collective entity through our own narratives: we are individuals enriching and endowing the human experience with meaning. \n I also think that our personal identities\, as well as the Foundational Myths to which we belong\, coexist in a dynamic and evolutionary process; the essence and perception of ourselves mutates as we face new experiences\, and it seems to me\, that something similar happens backwards\, that is\, towards the past; rarely does the memory of an event manifest itself in the same way\, each time we can perceive and reinterpret it ‘with different eyes’ and find ourselves\, all of a sudden\, in a different present. \nIn this sense\, I conceive my drawings as a mirror as well as a window\, in which\, when I look into the project\, I discover a new meaning; states of mind that interpret reality in unusual and surprising ways\, in which I hope the viewer finds a part of his or her own story. \nAnabayuleti Gamboa\, multidisciplinary artist and lover of applied arts. She created the Made in Bayu brand with which she seeks to re-signify the objects she designs with recycled materials. \nBayu was 23 years old when she started to recycle objects. She was studying plastic arts at the National School of Painting\, Sculpture and Engraving ‘La Esmeralda’ in Mexico. Since she was a student she has been interested in working with recycled materials and so\, she created the brand MADE IN BAYU\, whose aim is to encourage a responsible market that bases its structure on the circular economy\, the handmade\, unique\, ethical and sustainable\, and to participate in the construction of a culture with environmental awareness and in favour of the common good. \nShe specializes in the design and creation of accessories\, clothing\, jewelry and furniture with wasted materials.  In her current designs she uses tyre inner tubes that she obtains from vulcanisers\, with which she makes bags\, accessories\, clothes and rugs.

SUMMARY:“ATHLETES” by Koldo Logan
DESCRIPTION:Koldo Logan returns to artAmore Sitges with a new collection of sculptures. From August 25th to September 23rd\, you can enjoy this new stage of Koldo\, who began customizing Action Man and now with “Athletes”\, opens the way to a new possibility of serial and limited sculptural production. The opening will take place on August 22nd at 7pm. at artAmore Sitges\, \nKoldo introduces his new collection as follows: \n“ATHLETES” shows my inner universe and reflects a way of feeling and perceiving a world of fantasies that already started and was forged in my previous stages. It all began by customizing standard dolls and evolved by creating clay figures and mythological characters. A path against the contemporary languages established by the ruling aesthetics of modernity. Geometric rigor does not motivate me and I need the recognition and interest of my followers. They have given me the security and strength to go deeper into this way of making “objects of desire.” Once again\, fetishism and eroticism are the passion that guide me. \nNow\, I seek to contemporize the most classic athletes and do it with passion and modesty. I try to mold the Olympic bodies with clay. I want to stay aware of details\, and I let the manual finish come through\, creating an aesthetic result in which the hand-sketched look that I find so satisfying is intense. \nI allow the relaxed pose and stillness of the rugged athletes to show through. They don’t move or gesticulate\, they just wait their turn to jump and dance in their skintight tights. Sensually posing\, they seduce me again with their sculptural bodies. I imagine them thinking how and when they will give their last dance\, acrobatics\, and pirouette. This fantasy inspires me and takes me back to the homo-erotic world of artists as relevant to this culture as Mark Beard\, at the beginning of the 20th century in the USA\, or Touko Laaksonen (better known as Tom of Finland). The impressionistic finish of the brushstrokes also attracts me. In my mind\, those non-existent dancers that\, perhaps\, would torture or scandalize Edgar Degas visually resonate. \n“ATHLETES” opens the way to a new possibility of serial and limited sculptural production (10 numbered and signed units on the base of the piece). This more sustainable and affordable way starts from manual molding and then proceeds to scanning the original. The digital information obtained allows 3D reproductions in the desired size by printing with “Pla” filament. Subsequently\, resin and steel are injected. The pictorial finish\, with its nuances\, carried out manually in each pre-production\, gives the piece a unique and unrepeatable result.

SUMMARY:Octavi Intente Exhibition at Miramar Cultural-Centre
DESCRIPTION:From March 22nd  to May 12th\, you can see Octavi Intente‘s work at Miramar Centre-Cultural in Sitges. We couldn’t be happier; it comes as a gift for the 10th birthday of artAmore Sitges. \nOctavi is an outstanding painter from Terrassa (Barcelona)\, alma mater of artAmore Sitges. Although you won’t see him in the shop in person\, he has been part of the project from the beginning\, contributing with his art and his creativity. You can also see a permanent sample of his work at artAmore Sitges. \nThe opening will take place at Miramar Centre -Cultural on March 22nd at 7.30pm. \nExhibition “Películas de un fotograma” by Octavi Intente. \nA frame is one of the many still images that make up the complete moving image; each sequence of the strip looks more like a framed image when it’s examined individually. Octavi turns the instant into a dense and suggestive single-frame film where the viewer freely interprets the beginning and the end of the film. Octavi Intente’s work inevitably awakens a smile and an inner nod\, seduces and admires us by making us come across what would never have occurred to us and now\, suddenly\, it appears so obvious and so unquestionable. \nA shoe\, a pencil\, a waiter\, a priest\, etc.\, any object or character is subject to an ironic\, biting\, genuine interpretation\, which the spectator has the privilege of knowing thanks to Octavi’s hand\, capable of masterfully translating his perceptive universe into the canvas. \nMiramar  Centre – Cultural\nOpening times: Wednesday to Sunday\, from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm.\nClosed on public holidays.\nAddress: Carrer de Bernat de Fonollar\, 19 – O8870\, Sitges \n

SUMMARY:Flavia Sebök "Ocean"
DESCRIPTION:“Ocean” is the exhibition that Flavia Sebök has prepared for artAmore Sitges and that can be seen from July 29th to August 26th. The opening ceremony will take place on July 29 at 7 pm. \nIn her pictorial work\, nature in all its manifestations stands out as a theme; she especially feels an attraction for painting the tranquillity transmitted by the sea\, the fishes\, the snails and the deep ocean\, where peace and calm predominate. Water as a powerful and invisible energy. Thinking inward\, feeling and reflecting. \nBorn in Argentina in 1968\, painter and set designer\, she graduated in film\, theatre and television scenography at the Universidad del Salvador in 1993\, Buenos Aires\, Argentina. It is there\, where she learned all the techniques to imitate reality with textures\, through different natural materials obtained from nature such as processed wood\, recycled paper\, sand\, seeds and bark. She also studied the art of resin to create aquatic transparencies. \nShe has exhibit in Buenos Aires\, Punta del Este\, Miami\, Milan\, Rome\, Taormina\, Messina and Zurich. \nExhibition:\nFrom July 20th to August 26th\, 2023 – artAmore Sitges\nAll days from 10.30am to 14pm and from 5.30pm to 8.30pm\nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges\ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com

SUMMARY:Marcos Zrihen’s Painting Exhibition “Platges i Deserts”
DESCRIPTION:Marcos Zrihen has prepared a new exhibition for artAmore Sitges\, “Platges i Deserts”\, which you can visit from July 1st to 25th in Sitges. The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday\, July 1st at 6:00 pm. \nMarcos Zrihen expresses with his painting an anxious search\, a need for exploration of man and his cultural and environmental diversity. In beaches and deserts we find an ethnic and minimalist collection that refers to man and nature\, in the light of welfare and simplicity. But also to loneliness\, restlessness and pursuit. The man and his shadow in sight of a bird. \nTribes dancing\, children playing. Human groups always in motion. Work on canvas that nevertheless seems painted on wood\, with textures\, reliefs and subtle tones. The life and its dynamism captured from an original prism\, detached and at the same time very human. \n  \nExhibition:\nFrom July 1st to 25th\, 2023 – artAmore Sitges\nTuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 14pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm \nC/ de les Parellades 57 – 08870 Sitges\ninfo@artamoresitges.com – www.artamoresitges.com

DESCRIPTION:Under the name “Portables” Miquel Lligadas presents at artAmore Sitges from May 6th to 28th\, a small but significant selection of “intimate format” artworks\, which\, although they are not intended to be medium or large sculpture projects\, are certainly sculptural in nature. \nMiquel Lligadas tells us: “some people might call them jewels\, but they’re not\, I don’t claim to be a jeweler or a goldsmith either.
