The 57th edition of the Sitges, International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia will be held from October 3rd to 13^th, and at artAmore Sitges we are joining in once again, on our tenth anniversary, with exhibitions dedicated to the fans of fantastic and horror films.

As in previous years, we will be dressing up our shop windows during the next edition of the Festival and we have prepared fantastic exhibitions that you can’t miss.

Exhibition Més Pel·licules… by Octavi Intente

A new exhibition by Octavi Intente, entitled “Més pel-lícules…”, in which the artist shows us new images, new single frames, created since his last exhibition in Sitges.

Octavi Intente gives life to everyday elements and to fantastic characters, which are part of the magical world that the artist captures with a unique technique, and places on different supports.

Anabayuleti Gamboa, Series Mito Fundacional

Bayu brings us from Mexico his series Mito Fundacional. The theme of her drawings is autobiographical, each stroke corresponds to a personal experience that represents, in a juxtaposed and fantastic narrative, complex emotions and deep desires; each symbol sublimates an encounter, a knowledge, a process, a dream or a challenge. She draws her own identity, she lays herself bare in her pencil drawings, which transport us to labyrinths already lived, his Foundational Myths, developed with great artistry.

The opening of both exhibitions will take place on Saturday September 28th 2024, at 6.30 p.m., and they can be seen at artAmore Sitges until November, 4th.
