Coinciding with the Bears Sitges 2025 festival, artAmore Sitges presents a new exhibition by the sculptor Koldo Logan, who expands his acclaimed Athletes series with two new figures: David and Lars.
These new characters join the five original Athletes previously unveiled by the artist, forming a growing sculptural ensemble that explores diverse expressions of contemporary masculinity. Koldo Logan’s vision is both anatomical and emotional, offering bodies that are as expressive as silent.
David, inspired by the biblical hero, represents determination, inner strength, and courage. Lars, with Nordic undertones, radiates calm, nobility and introspection. Two figures, two energies, complementary and resonant.
With meticulous technique and expressive power, Koldo Logan elevates the male form to a stage of personal and universal drama. “Every fold, every tension speaks to something beyond the physical,” says the artist. His work transforms the body into a space of daily heroism.
Athletes: David & Lars will be on view from August 30 to September 28, 2025. An essential stop during Sitges’ most vibrant and inclusive season, to connect with contemporary art.
