“Desorbitada” by Anna Recasens

artAmore Sitges presents “Desorbitada”, the personal work of Anna Recasens. Through the overlap of images, she shows the figure of the woman as the protagonist and the creator of her thoughts and emotions, immersed in a cosmological scene and in dialogue with geometry, she transforms the events of life into new scenarios.

The illustrations in the exhibition have been made with the collage technique, which is based on cutting and hooking images that, through decontextualization and overlapping, take on a new meaning to explain a new story.

Anna Recasens, born in 1987 in Vilafranca del Penedès, is a graphic designer. She has intervened the Cal Xerta space in Sant Pere de Riudebitlles with “Meteor: en l’error de la llum”, made from the graphic project in the form of a book of experimentation with light and the error of the creative process itself. She has also exhibited at les Cabanyes del Penedès at the Vicaría de San Valentín with the exhibition “Desorbitada”.

The exhibition will be at artAmore Sitges from December 3rd, 2022 to January 6th, 2023. The opening ceremony will take place on December 3rd at 6:30 p.m.
