Collective Exhibition “3*** artAmore”

artAmore Sitges presents a new exhibition, 3 artists, 3 stars that have exhibit this year in artAmore Sitges and have left their print. Our *** are: Miquel Lligadas, with a selection of works of “intimate format”, which although they do not want to be projects of medium or large sculptures, have a certainly sculptural character; Octavi Intente, who presents a new collection of “Dibums”, the Catalan word he uses to designate his drawings (DIBuixos) with a vocation for volume (volUM); and Hatice Rana Tarhangil, a “supra recycling/upcycling” artist who transmits the beauty of nature and encourages us to preserve it.
The opening will take place on Sunday, December 3rd at 12.30pm, and the exhibition can be seen at artAmore Sitges until January 7th, 2024.
Miquel Lligadas i Pujadas. Born in Sitges (1957), although he currently lives in Terrassa and Capçanes, where he works. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and later a master’s degree in Art Therapy at the University of Girona.
He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally in Barcelona, Terrassa, Madrid, Germany, Switzerland, France, etc. and he has large sculptures in Kwangju, Kyonggido (South Korea).
Miquel Lligadas divides his time between creativity and the creation of his work, with art therapy workshops, which he carries out in different centers for people with intellectual disabilities, addiction problems and drug addicts in the process of reintegration.
Octavi Intente (Castellar del Vallès, 1959) is an outstanding painter and “egarense” (Terrasa-Catalunya) artist. After his first stage as an illustrator, has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in important places such as Barcelona, Girona, Madrid, Sevilla, France, USA, etc.
He studied sculpture at the Escuela Massana of Barcelona. His works are exposed at museums and foundations, but the most remarkable location is at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Some of his works are also in varied and prestige and varied places such as The Mirror Barcelona Hotel or the restaurants Angle Barcelona and Ten’s Tapas Restaurant by the award-winning Chef Jordi Cruz.
Hatice Rana Tarhangil belongs to planet Earth. The artworks that you are going to enjoy are created to be an engine of agitation in our environmental conscience, they transmit the beauty of nature and are born from recycled plastic bottles, that she has obtained from the neighbors of Les Llosses, Gombrèn and Campdevànol towns.
As a “Suprarreciclaje” (Upcycling) artist, her desire is to preserve the planet, leaving as a legacy, not the accumulation of waste, but the transformation of these into art, to communicate an urgency that concerns to all of us.
“Humans have intervened so much in the earth’s processes that we have even changed the planet’s natural cycle. We are already suffering the consequences, and the human footprint will remain present on our planet even after our disappearance.” Ricard Arasa Gisbert.
