artAmore Sitges, “Fantastic” Exhibitions
The 54th International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia begins next October 7th, the world’s first fantasy film festival, which has been held without interruption since 1968.
artAmore Sitges and as in previous years, we want to contribute and support the Festival, we have prepared Exhibitions that will not leave you indifferent. Our aim is to align ourselves to the fantastic spirit and to offer emotions and light to the streets in Sitges, visit us from October 2nd.
Fantastic Characters is the Exhibition that Frisco Sanz has prepared for artAmore Sitges, a collection of works made with different types of resins, latex, etc. and a great dose of imagination and mastery in the sculpture technique. Creatures that transport us to fantasy and horror movies.
This present exhibition, Fantastic Freak Film Characters Collection, shows Neus Gómez Asensio’s love for the fantastic, science fiction and terror cinema. She has illustrated with her personal style, a series that ranges from black and white classics, like Frankenstein’s Bride to more current series like “Strange Thing”.
Playdough sculpture Exhibition by Mano y Pincel: Original works inspired in Cinema characters, specially created for the 54th Edition of the Festival.
As usual in our activity, artAmore offers you a permanent exhibition of art and crafts, more than 160 artists and artisans show their work at artAmore Sitges, especially works made with recycled material.
