“Hallucinema” Exhibitions at artAmore Sitges
The 55th International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia kicks off on October 6th, the first fantastic film festival in the world, which has been held continuously since 1968.
At artAmore Sitges we want to contribute to making the stay of fantasy and horror film fans delightful in Sitges and we have prepared some “hallucinema” exhibitions to enjoy at artAmore from October 1st to 30th, 2022.
Fantastic Creatures by Max Pedreira
artAmore Sitges, coinciding with the 55th International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, presents the new painting exhibition by Max Pedreira, a sample of combined scenes and characters inspired by the world of horror and fiction cinema. A contemporary and ancient look at the same time. The opening will take place on October 1st at 6:30 p.m.

DR.ZENON – “Robotnik Overload II”
Inspired especially in science fiction of the 50’s and the craziest B series. Without resorting to any sketch or preliminary design, each robot takes shape from the materials that appear, keeping the original appearance and qualities of each object. Once created, its name appears alone, inspired by the materials used, a story or a character in homage to cinema or literature, which makes each robot a unique and personalized piece.
As usual in our activity, artAmore offers you a permanent exhibition of art and crafts, more than 160 artists show their work at artAmore Sitges, especially works made with recycled material.
